Specific Populations and Comorbidities

This section of the Guidelines overviews nine chapters related to specific populations, including adolescents and youth, gender-specific issues, pregnant and breastfeeding women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, culturally and linguistically diverse groups, sexuality and gender diverse populations, older people, cognitively impaired individuals.

This section also covers three chapters pertaining to comorbidities related to alcohol use, including polydrug use, co-occuring mental and alcohol use disorders, and medical complications of alcohol use disorders.
